Nicole Hidalgo D'Agosta, niece of FF Charles Mendez, L7, who was killed on 9/11, is in a contest on facebook competing for a chance to sing the National Anthem at an upcoming Jets game. Those of us that knew Chuckie knew what an outstanding guy he was, and I am convinced he would be doing everything possible to see she gets this opportunity. Besides that fact that this girl is deservedly talented and can really sing. This contest is on Facebook, and that's the problem because it's more of a popularity than a talent contest. I am only reaching out to The Rant because shes in 2nd place right now, and like I said, Chuckie would have her back and do the same. Voting ends this Friday night, 7/22, at midnight.
