Forum problems
« on: July 23, 2011, 11:17:54 AM »
Over the last week or two I have been experiencing problems with all the forum text being centred and being unable to modify posts due to a link that keeps popping up.  I have tried different browsers - IE8 and 9, Firefox, Chrome etc, but with no success. I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

Is this just me or is anyone else experiencing this problem?

All text and pictures are centered.  Need to be manually modified.

Only able to add one picture attachement per reply or entry.  Need to go back and modify several times if there are a few pictures.

It's a systemic problem.  It seems to be random, but often when I click just about anywhere in the "Post Reply" or "start a New Topic" windows, I'm taken to the home page of nycfire.net (NOT the forums).  Is it a problem in the settings, or in the software??

The centering of text makes a reading postings very difficult.  Most of them have this condition but if you don't which is really strange.  It seems like most of the full rundowns for incidents normally are not centered but everything else has.

Tommy, Truck 4 . . . you have been silent about this . . . are you aware of it?  Do you know what the fix is?  Are you working on it?

We know about it. Tommy and I were on vacation and had access to the forums but not the software. Should be corrected in the next day or so.

Thanx, M.  I just wanted to say again how much I appreciate all that you and Tommy do to maintain this site, and I know that I'm nowhere near alone in felling that way.  Thanx again.

I sure agree with you on that Ray. Thanks Tom and Mike.

But I did have a little trouble tonight when I was typing the update for the Member Meeting. Now this seems to be working fine.
