Can anyone please tell me who was on the mic on 9/11/2001 in Manhattan when the towers were hit? And if memory serves me right didn't he stay on the mic for almost an entire day.

No, he did not. He was in the office for the whole day and then some, but he was not on the radio the whole time. He was not on the radio when the first plane hit. A probie(at the time) was on the radio. He was on the radio when the towers came down. A lot of what he did that day was blown way out of proportion by the press. He and I also left the office for about an hour trying to find something to buy for the meal later on that day. Don't believe everything you read in the papers or see on tv.  Just like I wasn't on the phones for 24 hours that day. But I was when it happened, and was on and off for the better part of that afternoon. There was a story in the Daily News the other day about it.
