D8 and R5 respond only on the island. Dedicated squad. 512 and 513 manned. 700 series truck. Extra bc and possible dc.

Just saw the following:  "FDNY is starting to put extra units on the street. Staten Island just put out SQ 800"

Around 4PM there were 2 NYCTA buses (1 regular & 1 Express type) and 3 school buses (1 std. size & 2 short) staged outside E160/R5 firehouse. there were a couple of NYPD vehicles parked there too.

1940hrs- NYPD Harbor removed (2) kayakers from water off end of Arden Ave (South Shore).

Heard that Marine 9 was going to be at the Navy Yard for Saturday night

There is a report that L138 and E247 are at the quarters of E166/L86
