Relocations..

E 319 / E 275
E 227 / E 319
....i never agreed w/these relocations that put 2 Units into a different response area.....let 227 go right to 275.....i know that sometime it is important to put a relocator into a house quickly but when it is a lengthy Job going on why not after the 1st relocater is in place can't the 2nd proceed to the qtrs of the Unit operating at the Job then the other returns to their own qtrs.......EXAMPLE...let's say 138 has a lengthy Job & 135 goes to 138 then 120 goes to 135...hence 2 Companies in different areas.....after both are in the respective areas 120 starts for 138 then 135 starts back to their own area...... that is if the need for a quick relocation exist... efd274    I am totally in agreement regarding double relocations with 68jk09 but there are some exceptions. As most of the members no, there are some companys that get automatically relocated to other certain companys.  A good example would be my place E. 319.  We are the backup engine for the JFK hosewagon which is located in E 308's quarters. There have been numerous occassions where 308 is at a job, out of service ( apparatus broken down ), even if they are out of service for the entire tour ( 9x6 Tour   at the rock, on education day or medicals ) E 319 will relocate to E 308.  Within a half hour or so some brooklyn engine will pull up to 319's quarters on a relocation. The first thing the guys would say is where is the job that they are at. Then after they see the ticket that 319 relocated they usually were not to happy.
