Super Bowl
« on: February 05, 2012, 03:22:26 PM »
Most guys on this site know I am from Boston, now living in Chicago. Respect the Giants, their team and their coach, a former coach at Boston College. He is older than "Old School" but I guess it works! But have to go with Tom and the Pats, Pats 28/NY 17. 4 rings for Tom and Bill. This is a great site with many great guys, love and respect you all. It does not get any better than this site for FD info, wheather it be FDNY, CFD, BFD, or anywhere  else. 28/17!!!!!!!

I give much respect for the Pats, who will be known as the team the Giants beat in the Super Bowl- again.

Well GG, look at the positive - at least you had the losing team with 17 points!

Question: What do the Patriots and the old Brooklyn Dodgers have in common?

Answer: The Patriots will have to wait until next year!

All kidding aside a great game that could have gone either way - I was quite happy it went the way it did though!.  You could see that Bill B still respects the Giants. He had a lot of "class" the way he congratulated Tom Coughlin at the end of the game and in how he referred to the Giants in the post game press conference

The Giants win the Super Bowl and Tom Brady goes home to Gisele. I don't know what he's crying about ;)

Grump - is it true that you are changing your name to "Very Grumpy Grizzly" after the Superbowl Patriot loss?

The better team won, pure and simple.Giants executed, Patriots did not. But at least the Patriots have been in 5 SB since 2001. The sorry SOB's out here are still living off the '85 Bears! The say Chicago is a great sports town, bull shit! Since 2001 Boston has 3 Super Bowl wins, 2 World Series, a Stanley Cup and another NBA championship. Chicago has 1 Super Bowl appearance, a Stanley Cup, a WS win. Last week one of the few surviving people to see the Cubs win a WS died. He was a rare breed!

Yeah, but those Chicago fans are going straight to heaven when they die for what they have suffered on Earth.
