FDNY Planning and Command Vehicles
« on: March 23, 2012, 10:32:38 PM »
FDNY has acquired the following:

Mobile Command Center 1  at E 233
Mobile Command Center 2  at E 93

Incident Management Vehicle at E 262

Mobile Operations Center at E 207

There is/was talk of having one of the Mobile Command Centers respond to THIRD Alarms.  The IMV responds on FOURTH Alarms.

How are these vehicles used ?   Let's say we have a FIFTH Alarm and the the MMC responds on the THIRD.  Then the IMV responds on the FOURTH.  What functions do they perform?  Is there any duplication?

What is the purpose of the Mobile Operations Center?
