I apologize for this, as a Boston buff I should have this on my calendar. Mack you know L-15 was destroyed in this incident, your son's house. Really screwed up for not giving BFD recognition on this their darkest day. Greater love hath no man than to sacrafice his live for another.

June 17  -  tragic date for both FDNY and BFD - 1972 and 2001.  Both fires took tragic turns.  12 firefighters killed, many more injured   RIP.
