The action in Brooklyn (as usual) centers around Brownsville, East New York, Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, and Flatbush. Both Borough Park and Coney Island have been picking up work as well. Brooklyn still remains the "Borough of Fire".

For the Bronx, definitely the 17th, 18th, and 19th are the busiest areas for fire duty. The 14th and 15th also look to have been catching a decent amount of work.

For Manhattan, the work seems to be pretty spread out. Tribeca and Midtown areas have especially been seeing work lately.

In Queens, areas around Jamaica, Corona, and Flushing definitely see a lot of work. Astoria also has been catching a fair amount of fires.

As for Staten Island, the North Shore is most consistent for work.

That is a good idea.
I am currently working on a unit location map.  Hopefully I can match them together.

im honestly curious to see which "slow" houses are near some of those clusters,,,,, and which "busy" houses you might find in an area with no first due work...........
if you look at this map though,...... you can see the work is really spread out throughout the city........

I think you might be right. And he's (phish) has got some company. Certainly something to consider and there is some discussion on making "mikeindabronx", the very first official member, into the "NYCFire-HALL of FAME".

I have added a layer to this map.
The FDNY Unit Location Map can now be seen in addition to the All Hands boxes.
The AH boxes are pins and the station locations are bullet points.

I have completed the map of 2014 - All Hands Boxes.
To the best of my knowledge, every FDNY All Hands Box in 2014 is listed on the map.

Enjoy!

Hi Phish,

I just came across this, never got a notification when you posted.

Bravo Zulu!  Outstanding work.  Sounds like FD could have some work cut out for you.
