I assume the event wast the fireworks.  Was E274 relocated because they are a HazMat Unit?

Would make sense - E295 and TL 144 generally relocate to the Upper West Side for the Macy's Day Parade

274 was assigned to a Box in Manhattan as the Haz Mat Tech Engine. 295 and 144 go into Manhattan as a Decon Task Force.

Just to clarify, the out of borough units assigned to special events in Manhattan are not relocated. They are assigned to a particular box and placed 10-99 for the duration of the incident. Relocations are often made for special events, but that's just for fire coverage, other units are dedicated to the event.

FDNY150, So what you are saying is that NO Manhatten Units were assigned to the Fireworks Duty. Everybody assigned came in from another Boro, Right. If a Special Event is going on in Brooklyn, No Brooklyn Units would be assigned to it. Is that Right ?
  Thanks for your help.

No, Marine 1, E-7, TL-1, BN-1 E-35, TL-14, BN-12 were assigned for fireworks duty. The point I am making is that sometimes units from out of borough are assigned to large scale operations such as this.
