Fireworks barge burning about 3/4 of the way across the Hudson from the Intrepid. FDNY and North Hudson Regional FR operated. North Hudson had land units standing by, FDNY operated with one of the fireboats, not sure which one. I believe there were two of them that were burning, I'll have more info Monday AM when I get back into work.

Marine 9 with E-153 on board operated at one, Marine 1 with E-24 on board operated at the other.

And to answer your question, maybe.

Thanks for the update.  These barges that were on fire - were they fireworks barges?

Come on, it's the 4th of July, it's after sunset. The Fireworks show was on the Hudson this year, and it's two barges on fire in the Hudson.  Undecided
