Has anyone else noticed that the phase "Collyers' Mansion" condition is not being used as much, instead "Heavy Clutter" or something like that is being used

The term Collyers mansion conditions was being overused so job changed the way it defines the pack rat conditions to Light clutter, Medium clutter and Heavy clutter, no longer use Collyers mansion. Now when giving reports we use the new lingo to define conditions encountered.

Thanks "mac8146" for that info as well.

Now when guys come over to visit at my house, they can no longer call it a; "Collyers Mansion". I will now remind them that this place, "the ole' homestead", should be described as "Medium Clutter".

I guess then that some of the "pearls" we used to drop in the late 60's and early 70's to describe conditions would be frowned upon today.

forget about being politically correct..this is a great topic
my biggest fear at a collyers mansion was that while knocking down the fire your leg went through the wet debris and became constricted and then if you fell forward or sideways you could do some serious damage to your knees.
secondary searches were always delayed and the overhaul was a nightmare.
collyers mansion named for the collyers brothers who were hoarders.

One of the biggest dangers in a real CM was while making a search you were crawling on "material" that actually went slightly up an incline & you could crawl out a window.
