This is totally UNBELIEVEABLE, at least as I read it. Those Atlantic City Firefighters bargained in good faith to get their contract. That's the way it works. It is a give and take by both the city and it's firefighters.
Of the 225 Firefighters, 100 firefighters will be cut. Somebody, besides those firefighters, are surely to be affected by that. When there's not enough guys to do the job people will die.
Nobody likes to pay for firefighters. The same as nobody likes to pay for car insurance, or a mortgage or rent, or food that we need to survive.
Just today near my home, the firefighters saved a life that would not be here right now if not for those guys. There were also two other civilians hospitalized as well. The next time something like this happens in Atlantic City, it might not turn out so well.
