BLACK SUNDAY REMEMBRANCES.

MEMORIAL MASS
On Friday, January 23rd at 11am, E-290/L-103 will have a Memorial Mass honoring the memory of Firefighter Richard T. Sclafani, L-103.  The Mass will commemorate the 10th Anniversary of his supreme sacrifice and will take place at St. Johnís Church, 479 New Jersey Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.  All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend.  Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
MEMORIAL MASS
On Saturday, January 24th at 11am, E-46/L-27 will have a Memorial Mass honoring the memory of Lt. Curtis W. Meyran, B-26, Lt. John G. Bellew, L-27 and Lt. Joseph P. DiBernardo, R-3, all of whom made the supreme sacrifice as a result of injuries sustained while operating at Bronx Box 3-3 2997, January 23, 2005.  The Mass will take place in quarters, 460 Cross Bronx Expressway, Bronx, NY.  All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend.  Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
FRIENDS OF FIREFIGHTERS PEER SUPPORT PROGRAM
This program is intended to offer peer support to the active or retired FDNY firefighter and his/her family members. Call FoF at 718-643-0980, we will listen to your concerns and set up the initial phone call with a trained peer supporter (firefighter or firefighter family member).

A HEARTFELT ACCOUNT FROM A BROTHER WHO LIVED IT.....& ALSO ON THAT HORRIBLE DAY REMEMBER RICHARD T. SCLAFANI OF LAD*103 WHO DIED IN AN EAST NEW YORK BKLYN FIRE LATER THAT SAME DAY 1-23-05 & FF JOSEPH P. DI BERNARDO WHO DIED YEARS LATER FROM INJURIES IN THE BX FIRE....

Also let us NEVER FORGET the BROTHERS who although not killed that day but however still suffer with severe injuries mental & physical from this Fire as well as the Families.
