Not to get off the seriousness of this poor lady's misfortune, but if you read the article it say the "Q44" bus. Now when I was a kid the "Q44" ran from Jamaica, Queens to Westchester Avenue in the Bronx via the Whitestone bridge. When going northbound the bus would stop at 14th avenue & Parsons Blvd. where the driver collected five cents additional fare from each person that was going to the Bronx. I'm sure you guys from Queens guys can back me up here. Was it a printing error or did they change route numbers over the years? Prayers for the lady and also for the bus operator as well.
