L24FAST, issues with water pressure. It’s a manual pump, an engineer is working on getting it started now. The building is 720 feet tall.

-1409: E54 we have water on the fire, extinguishing it now

Air recon not flying? Isn’t this the time you need air support when there is a roof operation!

I work in that building. The building kind of bounced , i work on the 6th floor 7th ave side. We thought it was a heavy truck going through the intersection there. Turned on my Radio listening for Fire Traffic , i heard the report and knew that Plane (as reported) hit our building. The alarm did not immediately sound but we wasted no time evacuating. Our area is over the building atrium and we could see plenty of activity by building security. I can say this , trying to get people away from the building , huddling under awnings was frustrating. Rain Drop or Chunk of Debris ? Let me see which one can kill me.? Wanted to Thank the FDNY E54 L-4 R1 Just walked into the building and went to work.God Bless You all.

Thanks Guys for always answering our call.

Tony

Got it the old Utility truck. As long as its stocked to the roof with equipment and qualified personnel , i'm fine with it.
