For the history buffs out there, can anyone remember when a company officer transmitted a third alarm?  In this case, it was the third due engine.  Understanding that B 41 had a long run and delayed dispatch, the companies on scene did a great job and transmitting the additional alarms.

You beat me to it, I was going to ask if anyone knows the last time an Eng. Co. Officer transmitted a 3rd Alarm

2 bldgs = 2nd Alarm ....3 bldgs = Third Alarm.

Is this a protocall?  In years past there have been job's with multiple building involved that have been 2nd's with multiple SC's.
