Visit fdny station

I plan on going to NY City this summer. I would like to stop and check out some firehouse's while I'm there. If anybody has done this, do the crews you visited mind?? Did they treat you OK or like a damn tourist?? I know they probably get a lot of visits and sometimes it can be a pain in the butt.

They dont mind.  when I go to the city I usualy stop at a station or two and get a patch or a shirt.  The guys are real nice.

i had a friend that worked at 33/9 on great jones in manhatten. I stayed there for several days. Guys are real friendly. I met alot of guys, and had fun
