I need some help for a photo that may appear on the cover of Fire Apparatus magazine in Feb. Can anyone tell me the info of Engine Co. 283 in Brooklyn? Just the standard info such as..year - style - gallon tank and gpm and any other info on that piece. If you have some help for me can you please email the info to

From FDNYtrucks.com, E283 is a 2003 Seagrave, 1000 gpm pump and 500 gallon booster tank. Hope this helps.

Engine 283's current apparatus replaced a 2002 Ferrara Inferno that was donated after 9/11. Their current rig has had its lightbars replaced with Federal Signal models similar to the ones used by the NYPD
