11/22/10 Save the Dublin Fire Brigade Swords Ambulance

Hi Guys,

Ive wrote on here before about "The Ambulance stationed at Swords Fire Station, Co. Dublin - Ireland (Delta 134) manned by Firefighters" that is under threat of being withdrawn from Service very soon. This is a vital service for the people of North County Dublin which answered 4,500 (999 calls) last year and if removed from service Ambulance response times across the city will increase.

Dublin Fire Brigade have 12 Ambulance's which cover the city and last Monday 8 of those Ambulance's where pictured stuck at a Dublin Hospital with patients because there where no beds available in the A+E.

This left 4 Ambulance's covering the entire city & if the Swords Ambulance was to be withdrawn this would leave 3. Please Support the Save the Swords Ambulance by joining the Facebook page
