I know of one guy who will have a "Big Happy Face" when he sees what Santa gives him. He is a retired firefighter, but what I call, "A Closet Buff". That's a person who is really into it, but doesn't want to admit it. Ladder Co 103 just happened to be one of his favorite companies when he used to listen to Brooklyn on his scanner during those FDNY War Years.

Some of the guys on here may know exactly who I'm talking about. But let's just keep it as a surprise from Santa for him, okay.

When Code 3 was closing out their inventory in mid-2012, they were selling this rig for 39.99; other FDNY pieces were similarly reduced from the original prices.

But now the prices have gone up on many Code 3 items because they're they're becoming harder to find. :)
