Squad 8 Does Not Leave Staten Island For Anything I was Told Since R5 would move before them. SQ8 would Cover Staten Island.

Apparatus / Re: New Seagrave HP Engines
« Last post by BK_1253 on June 25, 2019, 03:59:31 PM »
I  received my copy of FAJ today, in the article it states Seagrave is currently building 20 2000GPM pumps slated for early 2020, is this apart of the current order that was re-awarded to them from KME? Also it states Seagrave is building 3 2000 GPM 3 stage HP engines for 8, 39 & 226, I'm aware that 8 currently has a Seagrave HP, has 39 or 226 ever? Is this new to their companies?

226 is first due at a ton of new residential highrises, so a decision to make them a HP company makes a lot of sense.

EDIT: Looks like 226 has a 2-stage 600 psi pumper already and is being upgraded. 39 is a regular engine. See here: http://nycfire.net/forums/index.php?topic=43940.0
