Dillon, not to second guess the boss in 63 Engine, but, it's White Plains Road, near the city line, it's 0100, it's a reported taxpayer going. Just those factors alone, not to mention the fact that most of the jobs along that stretch over the course of the past few years have gone to multiples, right there would be a justification.

Then again, better to have and not need than need and not have.

It was kinda funny, I walked into the Chief Dispatcher on duty when the 10-75 got dropped, and said, "That's going to go for 2" Sure enough as soon as I said it, the 2nd got transmitted.

FDNY150... I agree 100% with that logic for WP Rd. ( Gun Hill Rd. to the City line)

Good points.  I was only wondering b/c in the photos I was expecting to see the 2nd floor with smoke or fire pushing out.  I was working and didnt hear the inital size up and then a few min later heard it go under control so I was just throwing the question out there.  But seeing as how remote of a location it is for units to get to, and the history of jobs on that road in those taxpayers.  It is better to have the units come and send them home if not needed.  I didnt mean for it to come across as questioning the boss of 63.  Sorry if it looked that way.
