Hello, all, Can you educate me on these - Questions about some characters I have seen appended to company numbers on the MDT display: - If MDT shows "E021P E065P E008P E026P" what does the "P" indicate? _____? - If MDT shows "T021F", what does the "F" indicate?  Maybe FAST truck? - If MDT shows...

Does anyone have a cross-reference that shows the Shop Numbers AND the "Bus" numbers (EMS vehicle numbers) for the FDNY 1997 Ford/Horton ambulances?  (Most interested in vehicles that were assigned to Brooklyn EMS stations 39 and 44.) Thanks, Bill E.

Who manufactured the push bars (with siren and lights) mounted on the front of the Chevy and GMC Suburbans used by Chiefs and EMS conditions cars in the late 1990s?  Anybody have drawings or dimensions for these? Thanks, Bill E.

In support of my modeling efforts, what ambulances - vehicle bus numbers, not radio numbers - are usually running from Brooklyn EMS Sta. 44? Seems like the vehicle numbers on the Conditions Cars change as new vehicles are acquired, but do bus numbers change or are they more like fire apparatus...

Signal 10-80 includes dispatching a "Haz Tac Officer." What level of officer will that be, what do they drive, and how is that  vehicle marked? Thanks, Bill E. In Chi-town

On most radio systems a call from the field starts like this: "Engine 123 to Central." and the Dispatcher answers that call. But on the FDNY system it often seems that I don't hear the field unit initiate the conversation.  is it because of MDT or some other means the dispatcher knows the field...
