HazMat response requested

HM1 returned but E165 w/ HazMat second piece operated

FFs told to wear PPE when in contact with the Halon

It was probably Dry Chem, not Halon. Halon is a gas so I doubt it would be used as an outside supressant.
On a side note, much of the supply of Halon is owned by the military, however there are still Halon systems still out there. Halon systems work by excluding oxygen to supress the fire. It was commonly used for areas with expensive computers and electronics.
