Saw one of the MERVs in the pictures.    What is the reason and protocol for a MERV responding to a 10-75? I assume it was special called, maybe because of the extreme cold.

Great photos! On page 7 , picture 6 is BC Crichton (Batt 52). His brother is an Engine Capt. here in Va. Beach.

The 10-45's didn't have far to go as Flushing Hospital is right there at 45th Avenue and Parsons Blvd - see picture 19 upper left hand corner - the brick building.

vbcapt - now we know why you get to go to dinner at E274/B52.  kfd274 and I use to live in the second house from the corner on the s/s of 41st Avenue bet Murray St and 154 St - you could see the firehouse from my house as well as hear and count the bells and know what box to go to etc.

Cool stuff efd !! I first met Chief Crichton when he was a Lt. at Engine 3. Great person & Chief Officer!!
