Battalion 9: Box 887, we're using 2 and 2, we have a fire in a transformer vault in a manhole, it's a transit transformer. Can you contact Transit and see if they have any power outages, we have a transit supervisors on scene and they report they may have outages on the IND 6th ave line.
10-75-887 - 11:30 hours
BC9: Transmit a 10-75, transit personnel on scene are reporting they have power outages on the IND 6th Ave line, that's the B, D, F lines, and can we have a Battalion Chief respond to the Rockefeller Center station to see if there are any trains between stations. We have reports that power is on from 42-59 sts.

Siamese and Sound-powered phone hook-up A and B corner 53 st and Broadway in front of 168 Broadway.

BC9: Surrounding properties check out, no CO, no smoke, the fire is contained to the. Transit is trying to turn power off to the area. Do we have any more information on those lines I told you about?

Rescue 1 is responding to Rockefeller Center.

Battalion 6: Box 829, we're at the station at 50 st and 6th ave. We have no southbound trains at this time, there is a northbound train that's stopped at the station, and people are evacuating at this time.
