  Just wanted to add, another one of the favorite hang outs. Across the street from the "20" and Squad 61. Inside that McDonalds is alot of photos with memories of the first McDonalds of the 1950s. I've been in there also while they were playing 50s music.

  A place to hang out for music, food, and with a busy firehouse right across the street.

That McDonalds was owned at one time by former NY Jet Sam Deluca. Willie D might have been a "silent partner"...........lol

Back in the mid to late 70's I used to work at a nearby post office and this McDonald's was one of my regular lunch spots. There was a girl workingbehind the counter who looked like Farrah Fawcett complete with the frosted hair.
