Fire in original building knocked down.    Exposure 2 still burning.    7:00pm
2838 West 19th., corrected address.

While I can't see the fire building, I did see some white smoke briefly early on from my vantage point.    Wasn't as bad as it sounded.

3 LS  2 in use.    Still Doubtful @ 7:10pm.        PWH @ 7:15pm,  DoB  33mins.

?Kings of Neptune? 318/166 First Due

Been a while since Coney Is. has seen a 2nd alarm

Pic from citizen:

Were 2 calls on the box reporting fire in a vacant house. CIDS indicate a hazardous condition on the roof. Place sounds like a mess.

Matter of fact I think this was the last multiple alarm Coney Island had - June 17th:

3-alarm fire, same box #. A few houses down from this job it looks like  ???

I was actually at the Stop and Shop on Cropsey where the members of L166 were trying to buy some food.  They had to run out when this call came in.

Missed that one. I work right across Neptune and that would have made the day more interesting.

Back in the day, E 244 woulda been first due.

I just started paying closer attention to Coney companies as I visited there recently. Was 245 in their present quarters when 244 was open? Seems they'd be right on top of each other.
