For the 2nd time this year that I know of of, the 18 mile stretch of Overseas Highway and Card Island Sound Road has been closed in both directions due to a brush fire. Over 350 acres were burning as of 2300 on The 8th. Fire is considered 25% contained. Drivers are being warned of intermittent closures for the next few days. These are the only 2 roads I to and out of the Floriday Keys.
