Batt. 51 operating with all hands for a compactor fire at 1260 Loring Avenue, near Autumn Avenue, East New York Section of Brooklyn. Fire is between the 5th and 6th floors. No special units required, water on the fire. No fast truck or all hands chief.
CIDS: 8 story OMD 200 x 60, no standpipes, 1 3/4" hose may be used if fire conditions warrant.
@1023: Batt. 51: one line stretched and in operation, primary searches underway, fire is doubtful.
@1024: Batt. 51: all searches are negative. Have Housing respond; we have a blockage on the 3rd floor and the 4th through 6th floor.
