32 Tons of Product in tanker
Approximately 100"x50" area covered.
Product has entered the sewer.
Following Outside Agencies requested:
Sanitation
DEP
NYS DEC
NYCEM
B-3 reports sand, speedy dry and 2 lengths of 2 1/2" hose used to create a berm. This has contained the spill area. Towing company is working to lift the tanker to slow leak.
B-3 reports Tow company able to lift and secure tanker. Leak has stopped.
B-3 reports area has been secured and turned over to responsible party for clean-up. Tow company taking tanker away. DEP and NYS DEC will follow up on product that entered the sewer.
