"The unsuccessful Cobble Hill group, Friends of Firefighters, had hoped to turn the decommissioned firehouse of Engine 204 at 299 DeGraw Street into a counseling and therapy center, as well as a community center with an emphasis on fire safety. Instead, it will become the B.P. Music Center and will include administrative offices for the orchestra as well as space for community music and arts events, according to the announcement by the city?s Economic Development Corporation, which selected the philharmonic over other prospective developers."
