Happy Birthday Chief

For many of us here, we've gotten to know Chief JK as a personal friend. He has ALWAYS been there to help any of us.

A guy who is well known and highly respected throughout the entire FDNY, both as a retired member and a friend. No need to ask Chief JK what he did as a firefighter. Just ask any member of the FDNY who knows him and they will tell you.

From growing up as a kid with a father who was on the FDNY, then serving in Viet Nam, later to become a member of the FDNY. There he rose up through the ranks during the busiest years of the New York City Fire Dept. Like so many others he served when America was attacked on 9/11, loosing many of his friends and Brother Firefighters.

Thank you for all your contributions here and for remembering the members of the FDNY War Years and also those members we are loosing from the 9/11 cancer. 

So HAPPY BIRTHDAY Chief and many more Happy and Healthy birthdays to come. I thank you for all you have done for me and many of my friends. We  consider it an HONOR to be your friend.
