Grabbing chatter about a major accident on the LIE RT495 westbound between exits 43 and 41. All westbound traffic is being diverted off the expressway.
Numerous EMS Units and Nassau County MERV unit responding
This is a coach bus involved,
All traffic westbound is being diverted to the Northern State Parkway or the North Service Road for commercial traffic.
Eastbound traffic on the LIE is also backed up.
5 Ambulances at the scene
6 Ambulances standby at Jericho Fire Headquarters
So far a couple of patients have been transported to area hospitals
5 patients transported to area hospitals

I wasn't able to get any tag numbers green/yellow/red
NC MERV relocating to Jericho FD HQ
