Starting about 2330 hrs 12-13 & continuing....numerous auto accidents thruout QUEENS primarily on Hi-Ways due to snow fall & black ice conditions.....use caution if travelling tonight & tom. morning.

Not even Officially Winter yet (Dec 21st I think is the date), and the icy dangerous roads are taking its effect. "FDNY150", yes we hope your okay. Winter compounds firefighting too. Icy Ladders, frost bite, falling injuries, all increase during the winter season. Snow covered narrow streets and finding snow covered hydrants for the ECC is a chore too. The routine jobs are so much more compounded during the winter months.
  Everybody just please be careful whether on the job or just traveling around on the roadways.
