Description: Fire 2nd floor of a 2.5 frame dwelling
From Port Chester Fire:
This afternoon around 4:30pm, Port Chester Fire was dispatched to Fox Island Rd on a reported structure fire. Engine 61 was first arriving and reported smoke showing from the 2nd floor, a 10-75 was transmitted shortly after by R-40 & Car 2392 (Chief Sposta) bringing additional resources to the scene from Rye Brook, City Of Rye, Purchase and Town Of Mamaroneck Fire Departments.
The fire was held to the 2nd floor of the house and stopped from spreading to the adjacent structure. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
We would also like to thank our mutual aid companies that covered the village and handled an additional call during the fire.
