Rockville Centre NY (Nassau) Water Rescue 12/8/22

This afternoon RVCFD's Reliance Hose Co. was alerted to a water rescue in Smith Pond. Within minutes of the alarm, 3 Reliance apparatus, its boat, and Eureka Hook & Ladder Co. were on the road. Reliance Hose 3's marine unit was put in the water and assisted one kayaker stranded return to the mainland. Text & photos courtesy 4th Battalion Fire District.
