Ray - as you say, it is located in Norwich, Ct inside the main entrance of the Norwich, Ct Fire Headquarters at # 10 North Thames St.
Also seen in back is the old switchboard for receiving and dispatching fire and some ambulance calls for 15 area departments.
It was in service back when I went on the job in 1975 and stayed in service for several years after.
