*I am unsure if this house is located in Warrenville or Wheaton, since we have the Warrenville FPD responded to a Wheaton address, according to the info. I have.

Making deliveries in unincoperated areas can be a little tricky. Burr Ridge is located in Cook and DuPage counties, the area S of I-55 has a Burr Ridge address, which is DuPage, but the area N of 55 is Cook and has a Hinsdale address.

Today, per ABC 7 News: Warrenville Fire Chief says that Warrenville Tower Ladder 11 was struck by lightning while member's were up and operating in the bucket. The 3 firefighter's, including the Chief's son, are all okay and will return to duty for their next shift.

Apparently, according to zillow.com, this house is located in Wheaton, built 2006 and valued at $1M+. Also, the news reported that the house that was previously on this same site was also struck by lightning!

This was just 1 of at least 4 lightning-caused structure fire's in about a 30 square mile area of the Chicagoland area last night. St. Charles, North Aurora and Schaumburg also reported fire's caused by lightning strikes.
