I can recall a fire on the roof of E 207/ 84 Precinct while workers were spreading tar on the roof. I think that it was 2006 or 7

    Fire Commissioner To Resign

Nicholas Scopetta was not a firefighter, he was a lawyer as well. But, I don't recall any controversy about him never being a firefighter

    Fire Commissioner To Resign

I wonder. My feeling is Hodgens, because of the fact that he has been absent at department events and Esposito has been acting COD. I'm wondering if this has been in the works for a bit, and JH put in his papers and will take the job once he is officially retired. But, we shall see.

FDNY LT BARBARA POPPO PARAMEDIC BN 39 LODD 1/21/2001

I remember this night, I had only been on the job a few months. It is as a direct result of this incident that all ems stations were equipped with snow blowers

Who responds on a medical branch call ??? In route etc.

Generally speaking, that is used for MCI incidents, and it depends on the type of and scale of the incidents. For fires, which is most common, 2 BLS, at least one ALS, and a supervisor
