    Manchester, Ct House Fire 2/3/26

I live about a minute away. My son just left my house after dropping his kids off and called this in when passing. I told my wife I'm going to a fire around the corner. Bye. https://www.squadfirephotos.com/2026/Fires/Manchester-Ct-WF-2326

    Lebanon, Ct House Fire 1/28/26

I almost turned around while going as it was sounding like they got it. Glad I kept going. A 30 minute ride for me, then I wasn't sure I'd even be able to get close. And the funny thing was I was walking to the scene about a 1/2 mile from where they wanted me to park, the area smelled like cow...

    Tolland, Ct House Fire 1/27/26

I was on my way home from another fire when this came in. Reported as a garage fire. Numerous calls and the chief struck the 2nd while enroute. The house was fully involved on their arrival so he struck a 3rd shortly after arriving. A dead end street, no hydrants, 2 degrees out and 20" of fresh...

Due to road conditions Norwich guys told me it took about 40 minutes to get to the fire. Truck 1 was like driving a big toboggan

One person with severe burns transported. Willimantic does a great job with little to no manpower. Last night 7 on shift and all in quarters at the time of the fire. They run a very busy ambulance. I didn't leave right away to go and the roads sucked due to the snow storm...

East Hartford, Ct House Fire 1/8/26

I'm retired from the East Hartford FD. Spent about 8 years in the firehouse that's 1st due to this neighborhood and never had a run to the street I grew up on. Had runs to the other street's and took care of old neighbors on those runs.
