My name is Michael Winn (mike) and i am a 29 year member of the Massachusetts fire service. I currently serve as the Chief of the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department in Barnstable Massachusetts (Cape Cod.) Prior to my appointment at COMM, I proudly served the City of Greenfield Massachusetts as a call firefighter (college) career firefighter, career captain, and Chief of Department. I have also served on the Massachusetts Hazardous Materials Response Division since 1996.
My first visit to a FDNY fire house was in June of 1991 and I could not believe the hospitality and friendship. I have followed the careers of my friends on the FDNY and have had the chance to meet so many good people. I have always paid that forward.
