Check that box number. 1666 should be a project box east of Rockaway either on Sutter or Blake Ave.

Box 1666 is Buffalo Av and Atlantic Av. Maybe somebody actually found a working box in NYC! There's supposed to be an ERS box there.

Since 227 gave the 10-75, there only 2 blocks from Pacific St. and fire is between Ralph and Buffalo.

1666 IS Buffalo & Atlantic & it is an ERS Box..... whether it is working or not is irrelevant as the assignments for the closest Box location are what is used for a telephone Alarm regardless if the Box works or not.

Actually Chief, the box I was thinking of was 1669, Dumont Ave. 500 feet East of Rockaway Ave. Funny how all 1660 boxes are east of Rockaway Ave. between Belmont and Riverdale with the exception of 1666. Buffalo and Atlantic is quite a distance from there. Wonder how that happened?

It seems the closest is Box 1619 Ralph Av and Dean St. Isn't E227 on Ralph near Dean? I haven't been over there in a long time.
