Both died in the fire in the Back Bay Section of Boston in a 4 story building. Few details exist at this point but we do know there was a mayday called from the basement of a 4 story brownstone. Lieutenant Edward J. Walsh, 9.5 years on the job. Married with 2 boys and a girl (all under 10). Lived in West Roxbury and the son of a Watertown Firefighter. Firefighter Michael R. Kennedy, 6.5 years on the job. USMC veteran. Assigned to Ladder 15. Lived in Hyde Park.

CONTINUED REST IN PEACE BROTHERS......Boston FD would have been my goal had I not gotten on the FDNY.
