Earlier this morning the Oceanside FD responded to this commercial structure fire on Atlantic Avenue (Text & Video courtesy Nassau County Fire Service Academy)
Last night, the East Rockaway Fire Department was alerted for a mutual aid response to assist the Oceanside NY Fire Department at the scene of a commercial building fire on Atlantic Ave. (Quarters of ERFD Engine 404 & Ladder 403 are the closest FD to fire scene, being only 2 blocks away).
Chief Vesce, Chief Gelb, Ladder 403 and Ambulance 4081 provided support at the scene and Engine 404 relocated to OFD’s Headquarters to provide coverage to their district during the alarm. (Text & photo courtesy ERFD)
