Newport News VA MVA With Jacknifed Semi & Fire

Newport News *MVA with fully involved tractor trailer* 64E at Jefferson. Missed first due unit but units on scene with a jackknifed tractor trailer with 50-100 gallons spilled, cab is fully involved.

Command requesting two additional engines come down on coming traffic

Additional assistance was received from the Hampton FD and the James City County FD. Fortunately, no one was injured. Picture 7 shows NNFD Tower 10 set up in a residential area adjacent to the interstate. It was supplied by the York & James City tankers [one of which is shown (the International)], which supplied NNFD Engine 11, and fed to the tower by the line seen dangling from the bucket.
