LOL! I feel like Abbott and Costello in "Who's on First". So the District Chief was .....7?

Did the Deputy make it on the box or the 4-5 Signal?

Car 1, Car 4, Car 6 etc are District Chief's. C-6 is Deputy of Div 1 and C-7 is Deputy of Div 2. Hope this helps.

I believe the District Chief would be D7 and the Deputy Division Chief would be C6 coming in on the 2nd Alarm. Don't quote me, it's been awhile 🤣

I forget what year it was but District 10 was re-established and is now back out of Engine 55’s house. Dist 10 is 30/25, 49 and 55.

Just for reference the Divisions are separated by Massachusetts Ave, then Columbia Rd, cutting across the city. Mass. Ave ends at Edward Everett Sq, (Box 174) and Columbia Rd runs east to the harbor. The exceptions is District 11 which is in Brighton and is cut off from Boston proper by Brookline, except for Commonwealth Ave that connects Kenmore Sq.through Boston University to Brighton.

For simplicity. District Chiefs would be known as Battalion Chiefs in most places and the Division Chiefs are Deputy Chiefs which aligns with most places,
