What type/quantity of apparatus respond on a 4th alarm in this coverage area?

Brothers and sister this is a good example of when you should use a Large Caliber Stream to knockdown the major amount of fire. as the 1st option. Any exterior line often should NOT be a 1 3/4" but a 2 1/2" or as I said a Large Caliber stream. Once the fire is "Reset the Fire" = A Chicago Fire Dept. phrase, then you can possibly use 1 3/4" for overhaul. A quick "Hit it hard from the Yard" for a short time makes a big difference.
