I’m assuming this didn’t initially come out as a brush? Otherwise, why did 321 not take it with em when they left? That seems like common sense

BFU6 is now at 323s quarters while 153 is in with 321.

So...Eng.276 from E.14 St. & Kings Hwy. (Ave.P), went to 323 at E.64 & Ave N (Veteran's Ave.),
to bring the BFU Back to E.36 & Ave. U ?

I Think 255 at Flatbush & Farragut (Rogers Ave.), or 257 (Farragut & Rockaway Pkwy.), (or Even 310 Snyder & E.52), would've been Better Choice to Run from Bergen Beach to Marine Park.
(Just Sayin'... 😉).

3/21/24 Brooklyn Brush Box 3063

The Gerrittsen Beach Fire Department received multiple calls, and a notification and responded to a brush fire at Box 3063 Avenue U and East 36th. We coordinated with FDNY Brooklyn for access at the Golf Course. We unlocked the fire gates at the MPCG, deployed GBFD Engine 1 and our 6x6 Brush UTV, BFU2, to extinguish a 300x50 area brush fire, and initiated a water relay from GB Engine 1 to GB BFU2 with an additional 400ft of forestry.

While on scene, we identified a second fire one mile north, behind Lenape Playground, about 500 feet west of Avenue V, in a 100x100 wildland area. After extinguishing the first fire, we repositioned and extinguished the second fire with the same units and water relay operations from within the golf course area.

GBFD worked with FDNY to contain and extinguish both fires.
